Saint Mary's Apiaries is having a sale on nucs.
We will provide a copy of the state inspection certificate along with the bill of sale.

A NOTE - Deeps Are Sold Out - So Consider This:

This time of year, many beekeepers will use a medium box of bees as the bottom box and then they will feed and put a deep box with fresh frames on top and then what normally happens is by fall the bottom box is empty of resources and it can be pulled off so you over winter your bees in the deep.
Then the next year that comb can be used for the colony or it can be rendered for wax that can be used to be put on the frame foundations. If you want a nuc(s) please call me and leave a message with your request along with your name, address, phone number, and email address.

Saint Mary's Apiaries, founded by Mary ​Cash, sells the best local bees and honey in Virginia.

Saint Mary’s “Blest bees” are locally mated survivor stock. They have some Italian and Saskatraz genetics but are mostly New World Carniolan queens that were purchased from Bob Binnie of Blue Ridge Honey Company. We have diversified with queens from the state of Washington (carniolan/italian hybrid), Pennsylvania (Italian from the Amish) and Kona queens from the Big Island Of Hawaii.

Saint Mary's Apiaries has had an over 98% average overwintered survival rate. They are great honey and wax producers and are very gentle. I normally work them in shorts, t-shirt and bare handed.
